In 1998 I threw away the rulebook, as a designer I am not content with the status quo! I designed Total Aerial System (TAS) to show how simple packaging and multi-functional structural elements could result in a multitude of innovations and advantages. The design was my year long thesis work at the Victoria School of Design and Architecture in Wellington New Zealand. TAS is now around 20 years old, it has inspired the development of other emergency vehicles and the entire concept remains relevant in 2018. 1998-Student-Victoria University, New Zealand
